Trades & Technical Schools

There are many opportunities to start a careerthat don't involve college! Many of these are shorter certificate programs so that you can get started in the workforce sooner.

  • Technical Schools focus on applied learning in a classroom setting, aimed at entering a specific field or industry.
  • Trade Schools offer more hands-on learning and shop time as part of the learning process.
  • Apprenticeship Programs often start in a hands-on class, but also include a large amount of one-on-one education with a Journeyman (a licensed person who has worked in the field for years).
